Flowers of Spring

The crocuses are starting to come up and the snow continues to melt. The bees have wasted no time getting things going. Spring does appear to have begun in Vermont.

Spring Sliver

Canon EOS T1i set on manual (M) priority using a EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens.
The exposure was taken at135mm, f8 for 1/10th of a second at ISO 100.
Post Processing done in Adobe Lightroom.

I am still learning how to shoot the moon but I am finally getting better. This is one of my better ones. There will be more of these going forward.

Another note, my Focal Lengths are not converted to 35mm/Full Frame but the crop factor for the T1i is 1.6. (This would make this shot a 216mm on a full frame or 35mm film camera)

Sking the Vermont Woods

Canon EOS T1i set on aperture (Av) priority using a EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 USM lens. The exposure was taken at 38mm, f/11 for 1/160th of a second at ISO 400 using a polarizer filter. Post capture done in lightroom.

Ok so I did not take this picture today and to start it may take me a little while but I have taken a fair amount of pictures this winter so I have a stock available to start. This was a great lunchtime snowshoe in two feet of fresh powder.
