And the Water Recedes

The water is still very high in many places but the rivers are starting to return to their banks.  Lake Champlain on the other hand has reached record highs.  

Sunshine and Rainbows

Every day can't be sunshine and rainbows but today sure was after a brief rain shower.  (It was still raining while I took this shot.)  Will have to work on getting a wider lens to capture the full arch of the double rainbow. 

Turn Around, Don't Drown!

This is the normally a fairly busy section of US Route 5 in Saint Johnsbury Center, VT.  Many rivers have been flooding around the state due to large amounts of rain last night and large amounts of snow melt from the higher elevations.  (it was 79 Degrees today)

Advice for the day:  Turn Around, Don't Drown.
